Dropped today on 3 servers due to suspected cheating. I don't know if he hax, he looked clean for me. But now he is -nn- history.

ok he was a real cheater since he connected to the server and did spect (ng should kikc him right after he joined the server) so i say yeh he cheats and bam we are 1 man cleaner

I think ng kicks when joining the game. All drops I have seeon so far look like this :

Having said all that, I hope everyone who was caught in this thread has cleaned their Quake installation. Delete those configs which you don't trust or you got from someone else.

While I don't think letting people off is the best decision, I believe this list is best left as a warning. It is up to server admins to decide whether or not they want to use the list of IPs or not.

look if i was on that list i would say ohh well its my fault i didnt clean my config didnt reinstall q3 damn im stupid

but guess what before i downloaded the 144 i did clean my config reinstalled q3 and wow thats weird im not on the list :O

look at chroll he dropped got kicked from hs and made less of a drama then you are doing he knows its his fault and accepted his faith now your here crying about another chance it was your stupidity that got you here and well youll remained -1'ed

heres a lil bit of advice: learn from your mistakes

Everyone on that list tells the same: I dunno from where it is. It must have been a config from someone else.

But I just don't believe that shit. Maybe there is one or the other who took a config from someone else.

But people who give their config away probably delete such commands. People got banned for haveníng it in their config. It is unlikely that one takes the whole config of someone else. Maybe you copy something to yours, thats all. And you would not have dropped if you took someones config with walls inside, tried it, and deleted it afterwards.

In the past you dropped with autoshot in your config. Where is the difference to walls?

So I think 90% of the people on the list just tried a cheat in the past, and noone knows if they still use it. Thats all. And they deserve to get banned for that.

Now we wash them clean? I guess there are undetected cheats out there. So all the fucking cheaters just have to clean their config and can play on like nothing happened?

Thats really annoying for people who NEVER had anything to do with a cheat, I didn't even look in my config because I knew it is clean. I am really pissed when I recognize that in other clans half of the members dropped. We kicked one for that.

Fuck it, as others already told, banlist stays like it is.
